Warning: This medication can cause blindness. Should this happen, see a doctor.
P.S. – nothing to do with the above story:
An anthology of poetry – which includes three poems by the late Cynthia Jobin and also dedicated to her memory (many of you will remember her and her blog littleoldladywho) – was released the other day by Bennison Books. You can read more about it here and also purchase it if you so wished. (Things open in a new window) It’s for a good cause. (And as a corollary to this announcement: I’ve got a couple of poems in there as well!)
Let’s hope the doctor can see you….I’ve ordered my copy of the book, looking forward to reading it!

Thanks, Andrea. As the doctor possibly said when asked if he could see you:- Aye.

Brilliant – not least because this is the sort of thing we see so often (if you’ll pardon the pun!).

Thanks Sarah. And glad there were giggles on the other side of the globe!

Advices like those make life interesting, provided of course one can see his way around. I checked out Indra’s Net. The title is both startling and enticing, not to speak of Cynthia’s masterstroke. I am moving to a new city. I will but get the book once I settle down.

Where? Where? What was wrong with Mumbai?! Before I moved here I lived in a place called Bombay – but that was in New Zealand. It is a market growing area south of Auckland.

I am moving to Bhopal, a bit of backwaters compared to Mumbai.

As long as you’re not going to work in the gas works, then that’s ok! Is that where your parental home was?
