The cat knows she’s not allowed on the table.
But there’s a turkey there!
It’s Christmas! I have a right to be cunning!

The cat is persistent. Maybe the turkey needs a “Do not disturb” sign on his tent?

A “Do not disturb” sign won’t deter the flies!

Lovely calico cat.
Is that really a turkey, maybe one with a failure to thrive syndrome?

Thanks. The word “calico” is never heard over here – although strictly speaking that’s what she is. Cats of her colour are called tortoiseshell in NZ – even though (strictly speaking) that’s not correct! And the turkey is real but a wild one – so always a bit more streamlined than a domestic one.

There’s a serious flaw
Because the turkey is raw!
I like my meat rare
But I have a care
For bacteria…

I love this piece, very festive, when’s your Christmas album coming out? 🙂 (also love the photo, but that goes without saying really)

I see a little paw under the turkey tent. Was there much bird left to go in the oven?
