You could’ve knocked Heather over with a feather.
They named a Street after her son, Pete.
Then they named a Drive after her second son, Clive.
“How come they don’t name something after me?” asked Heather’s third son, Lane.
Hilarious! The wit here is so cool that I can picture certain folks I know saying “Huh? I don’t get it.”
(She should have named the third son Ray..or Beauregard…)

Believe me, I tried every name under the sun. The story kept re-appearing and I kept discarding it. In the end, I had to post it to get rid of it!

Here I was thinking Heather would get some action, like having a typhoon named after her…

I too would like to make a rhyme, Oscar, but my Spanish is so poor that I fear I could simply mis-rhyme the pronunciation of your name!

The Spanish rhyme would be too facile, it’s the English that takes a while, so I can’t concur, said Oscar.

Oscar rhymes with cur – a dog?
And dog rhymes with blog.
And Plascencia seems to rhyme with sweet f-all!
