They took the stitches out yesterday – in the car – because of covid – so I sat in the (excuse me) effing car park while the nurse attended to my ear with scissors etc. But apart from hardened blood all over the place it seems to be going okay.
Yes, thanks Uma. Your suggestion is not an impossibility. I’m thinking (seriously) of going into poetry alone. It’s almost half a decade since Cynthia passed and she’s still hammering at my door!
