Alphonso hated the Autumn Equinox. It meant we’re heading towards winter, which is cold, icy, and utterly uncomfortable.
Alphonso hated the Winter Solstice. It meant the coldest months are on their way.
Alphonso hated the weather on television. “They’re forever predicting bad weather. I’ll watch once they start being a bit more positive.”
Alphonso is a hater, I guess.

He certainly finds the weather disagreeable – as I do this very day of the Spring Equinox where it is windy, rainy and cold!

Ha ha! We still have the fire going all day. I don’t know if you knew her on the blogs – but I see where Pauline King died (“The Contented Crafter”) She was a good friend (online) of Cynthia and came from Dunedin NZ. She also seemed to have lots of friends who followed my blog.

I agree with him. If they sacked the weatherman and replaced him with a weatherwoman we’d have nicer weather.
