Ah, these gems! I think I know which vegetable you like the most, and which find suspicious haha… and which even dangerous! – now I am laughing like crazy here. Cannot wait to print out the sheet music.

Glad you are enjoying! Some of them could accompany your walk around the garden!

I have no garden, but I will never look at canned beans the same now, and at the rest of the veggies too 🙂

Now you know how liberating it feels for beans to be let out of their tin!

Thanks, Lisa. I hope you’re able to hum one or two of them in your garden!

You would probably never find me doing the weeding, and if I ever did that thankless task, I would sound far grumpier than your music illustrates. Now to tackle the vegetables.

The problem with weeding these days is that one has to kneel down and then one has to somehow get up.

Amen, Brother. The getting down is fine, the up part is ugly. Remember those heady days when we didn’t know what was ahead for us?

As I said to Uma – I started digging the vegie garden today in preparation for Spring! And I’ve made a list of everything I’m going to grow – which is just about EVERYTHING!

Did I love the way peas are different from potatoes and onions? You bet! Thanks for the stories for the ear and the heart.

You’re very talented Bruce. Thanks for making these available. I didn’t realise that weeding the garden could take on the form of something so musically charming. But there it is.

90% of weeding the garden is standing and looking – and then sitting down with a beer.

That’s the kind of weeding I wish I had done more of.

Well, who knew what interesting personalities those veggies had – those jaunty artichokes, those cheeky peas – the onions and leeks seem rather sinister and the radishes are positively funereal. But the beans, oh the beans, such drama!

Beans have a reputation for producing drama!
