I’m surprised someone hasn’t complained that it’s a Christian symbol and offensive! Did you know that Jingle Bells is a racist song?

Close, but no cigar! Apparently the song was written by a man who wrote music for vaudeville shows that used performers in black face…

I bet it’s the sheep and the little shelter-y box-like thing by the power pole that makes it interesting. The music made me think of power going through the transmission lines, but then that was the picture, eh?

Thanks – I think the little shelter-y thing is a water tank that feeds the troughs on the farm. Not sure.

The composer seems to be sending a message –somewhat like Spielberg’s ET– to the world he has left behind. It moved me deeply.
