Thank you for posting the fabulous boiled chicken recipe. It was so simple to do; just chicken boiled in water. My family are vegans, so I left out the chicken. All agreed it was the loveliest meal I’d cooked in years. It’s certainly a recipe I shall be repeating and one I can’t wait to share with guests.
Oh, and it would be gluten free too! What a winner.

Possibly however it could be quite fattening. Water does that – especially round my water-retaining ankles.

Oh, maybe leave out the water, next time you make use of this recipe.

We’re having it tonight, but maybe just as an hors-d’œuvre.

Well, don’t gorge on it. You know what will happen.

I find if I beat water until it gets fluffy I sleep really well!!

You might find it needs a little salt and pepper to spice it up!

I see you haven’t forgotten to pack your satirist’s hat to the new destination. Or is it that you are going ascetic in that scenic wilderness?

I don’t have chickens here, and it’s rain water, so I must be careful with water use. I shall have to limit myself to wine, and when that’s done, revert to a gin and tonic…

Now you have added to the mystery and sense of adventure!

Oddly enough we are having the same meal tonight….. without the water. More roasted than boiled. I’d like to be a vegan like Spock but my ears aren’t right.

!! It would be terrible to have ears like that – so it’s best to keep eating meat.
