Looking at ducks, and imagining that they waddle to this music, quacks me up….however,
Confucius say: “Man who stand on hill with mouth open will wait long time for roast duck to drop in.”
If I had a roast water fowl heading for my open mouth I’d duck. Having said that, if you order roast duck at a restaurant the bill is quite big I believe.
Further to my little joke… I THINK in the States one asks for the check and pays with a bill – whereas over here one asks for the bill and pays with a cheque. Is that right?? (P.S. The dog is at the vet’s – just dropped her off…)
Yes, Duck l’Orange or Peking (Beijing) Duck is usually seen on the menu of more posh restaurants, though duck is an affordable option at the Thai restaurants I have frequented.. I love Duck Choo Chee. And we do ask for the check…but usually pay with a credit card! I haven’t had roast duck in ages, since I haven’t been out-to-eat in ages….
Very waddleish, duckish music Bruce. I love seeing them being very busy, going somewhere determinedly with no mind for what has to get out of their way.
Hope Delia comes home soon, hope it isn’t too bad……….
I can just see them duck walking and plucking at grass, then doing the duck slide into the water and paddling away. Hope Delia is only being deflead or something benign…

No – she has a large stone in the bladder to be removed! At least, hopefully that’s what it is…

We have many low-beamed pubs over here. Some bear the witty notice ‘Duck or Grouse’

😀 I believe low beams can connote a certain age…
