Hi Sweetie. We’re going to have to put grandma down. She’s 114 and keeps having babies.
I wonder when you take her in if you can get the cat done at the same time. It’s piddling on the floor. It’s been a good cat. I’ll be sad to see it go.

I’ve been waiting for a “kill the cat” post, so now has the other shoe dropped?

Let’s say it has – so that you can live in peace (for a while).

I’d better keep taking the pills, in that case.

Well, there was this one, but Bruce killed off another wee animal a while back, and said that a cat would be sacrificed in a future post. https://weaveaweb.wordpress.com/2016/04/02/905-other-boot-to-drop/

Hi Sweetie. I wonder if you could put the voice of this story in a place where the sun don’t shine…

I don’t like your future ……. Grandma should be able to pop babies as long as she likes!

As long as she didn’t expect the great grandchildren to look after them…

This story made me think of the scene in Blithe Spirit when the ghost starts running around the living room shrieking “EEEEEeee EEEEeeeee.” In the production I saw, she was wearing a stunning red ball gown. Now I know what she was feeling…

I haven’t seen a production of Blithe Spirit, but we were “made” to study it at university as part of a 20th century drama paper.

Rumour has it that in Holland they already are putting grandma down?

Thoughts of that happening to me have sometimes crossed my mind. Thanks for putting it so graphically.
