Joe was an avidly rabid Christian fundamentalist. He disliked immensely anyone who disagreed with his theological position.
He would be saved by faith alone, and not all that other religious good deeds and crap spun out by those who didn’t know how to interpret the Bible properly.
BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS AND BE SAVED! was his cry. BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS AND BE SAVED!
